Liam riding his Radio Flyer trike

(February 2, 2009)

Liam insists on riding his little Radio Flyer "trike" everywhere, even to the laundry room downstairs and the recycling room. The moment we open the door to leave the apartment, even if it's to visit one of our neighbors, he runs back to get it. He threw a really good tantrum one Sunday because I didn't let him take it with us to Church. (Sorry, Liam, can't win them all.)

This time he also decided he could not leave the apartment without his Metrocard and his keys. So we placed them along with his mittens in his little pouch (courtesy of Qantas airlines from our recent trip to Australia). Every so often he had to stop riding to check and see if it was all still in his pouch. He also stops and looks toward the sky whenever he hears a plane or helicopter, and won't take his eyes off of it until it is completely out of his sight. This time around, for some odd reason, he also felt the need to hang a little play toy from the handle bar. Liam is growing so fast that he will soon outgrow his little trike. Oh well, it has certainly gotten a lot of use and many compliments.

(Video clip and photos were taken with my cellphone, so my apologies for the poor quality.)

My little boy is growing up so fast!

Fun! Makes me excited for the day when Garrett will be scooting and pedaling around the sidewalk. :)

Looks like both of you had fun!

One Mutual NIght...Shelley played with the Stringham boys, on our way home while i was driving, asked me if they can have a baby brother! That was not the first time she asked and me--not knowing exactly what to say-I pretended to be tired[well, i was literally tired that night] of hearing it and said.."OKAY,OKAY..[pause] Tomorrow[pause]....we will buy one!!" [well it sounds funnier to hear to hear the story...hehehe]

How i wish i can still have a baby boy...so Shelley will stop asking...hehehe
