Taking requests.
This happens several times a day.
Liam: Cho molk, mama, please (translation: chocolate milk)
Me: You want chocolate milk?
Liam: Okay.
L: Cheese, mama.
M: You want cheese?
Liam: Okay.
And on, and on, and on.

Garrett is the same. He'll ask for something (usually by whining and pointing because his vocab isn't quite there yet), and when I question what it is that he wanted, or ask him to say the word for what I know he wants, he'll just nod his head and say "please" or "yes."
