Liam got a new Radio Flyer tricycle. His Abuelita chipped in towards the purchase and Liam couldn't be happier. He also refuses to leave the apartment without it. His favorite little pedal-free trike was simply adorable and he got many compliments as he rode it around our neighborhood. But, alas, he outgrew it and so it has been finally retired. (Truth be told, Liam outgrew it rather quickly as we waited, for what seemed like an eternity, for some replacement parts.) He took no time in learning how to pedal his new tricycle. We are convinced that this will help build his leg muscles and will help him transition to the standard bicycle (he already has in storage). He also took no time in figuring out how to carry along his favorite little backback (which he never leaves home without). The arm straps perfectly wrapped around the upper back deck, you know, the one that is used to bring along another friend. I particularly enjoyed his ingenious way of taking a sip of water without removing the bottle from the backpack (that was secured to the back of his tricycle). Quite resourceful for a two-year old! Clever boy!
Sunglasses, a cabana shirt, shorts, and a shiny new red tricycle- Liam's ultimate summertime look!
My baby is growing up so fast!

You can't go wrong with a radio flyer trike. My siblings and I went through several as we were growing up. It's such a fun, classic toy!
