Showers brought flowers

The incessant downpours in March brought us our Spring flowers to admire as we run errands around the neighborhood. We look forward year round to the blossoms of this beautiful magnolia tree. So beautiful, but so sad that it only lasts about a week. The blossoms falling and nearly covering up the sidewalk last week was an alarming site to Liam. He yelled, "Oh, no! The tree is falling!"

He loves flowers and often asks me if we can get roses and a lilac tree. You know, like the Children's song, "My Heavenly Father Loves Me"  (Sigh!) Someday, my sweet boy.
